Today is nine weeks since the accident. It used to be nine days and soon we will mark nine months and then one day nine years.
After I heard from Kim Moran yesterday I remember that she has red hair - and that reminded me of a comment from Tom Griffin.
When Tom first arrived on the scene he thought the two fallen women were Kim and her mother. Their house is only a hundred feet away and here was a blonde woman and her red-head daughter - a reasonable guess from a distance considering how Jenny's blonde hair was soaked red with blood.
Only when Tom saw Kim and her mother nearby did he realize that they were uninjured and he had two unknown individuals "down."
The more of this I piece together, the more it seems real to me.
Sometimes I wish it were just a story that could be rewritten to change the facts.
