Romans 8:14-19,34,35,37-39
Those who are led by the Spirit of God
are children of God. For you have not been
given a feeling of fear like a slave but
rather one of a child living under a father.
And in this way we cry "Abba, Father" where the
Spirit himself testifies that we are children
of God.
Now if we are children, then we are heirs --
heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, if
indeed we share in his suffering in order that
we may share in his glory.
I consider that our present sufferings are not
worth comparing with the glory that will be
revealed in us.
The creation awaits in eager expectation for the
revelation of the children of God.
Who is it who condemns us? Christ Jesus died,
more than that - he was raised to life and is
now seated at the right hand of God, and is
interceding for us.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall trouble, or hardship, or persecution, or
or famine, or nakedness or danger or war?
No, in all things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us. For I am convinced
that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
principalities, nor the present nor the future,
nor any powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything
else in creation will be able to separate us
from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus,
our Lord.
